Campus hours aren’t business hours.

Campus days run long

A welding student in a three-hour shop block can’t leave for lunch. A nursing student heading straight from clinicals to an evening class doesn’t have time to. And evening and weekend programs run long after any food on campus has closed, if there was any to begin with. For a lot of students and staff, the closest machine is the meal plan between meals.

So it has to be full, it has to work, and it has to take a tap of a phone. That’s the job we built Snack Smart Solutions to do: we own the machine, we stock it, and we keep it running, at no cost to your school.

Where a machine fits best on campus

We focus on the campuses where a local, family-run operator makes the biggest difference. These are the spaces where a machine or cooler tends to earn its spot:

Trade and career schoolsLong shop and lab blocks, smaller campuses, often no cafeteria at all.
Satellite and branch campusesA full day of classes, without the dining hall back on the main campus.
Training and certification centersWelding, HVAC, health care, and other hands-on programs that run for hours.
Evening and weekend programsWorking adults coming straight from a full day on the job.
Instructor and staff loungesInstructors and staff who spend the whole day in one building.
Student common areasLobbies and break areas where students wait between classes.

College & trade school questions

  • Can students pay with their phones?

Yes. The machines take Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap or chip cards, and still accept cash, with no surcharge for paying by card. Students can also earn rewards on purchases through the Monyx loyalty app.

  • We’re a small trade school without a cafeteria. Are we a good fit?

Often, yes. Smaller campuses with long lab and shop blocks are some of the best places for a machine. What matters is how many people are on site and for how long, so tell us about your schedule and we’ll give you a straight answer.

  • Can you keep a machine stocked when a new term or cohort starts?

Yes. Remote monitoring shows us stock levels in real time, so restocking follows actual demand, including the weeks when a building is busier than usual.

  • Can you stock healthier options for students and athletes?

Yes. Every machine gets a mix built around the people using it, with protein snacks, waters, and better-for-you choices alongside the classics. We adjust it as we learn what sells.

  • Can we offer fresh food, not just snacks?

Yes. An AI smart cooler holds sandwiches, salads, and other fresh food. Students tap a card, open the door, and take what they want.

  • What does it cost the school?

Nothing. We provide, install, stock, clean, and repair the equipment at no cost to your school. You provide the floor space and a standard outlet.
