A Lewisville, NC vending company built by Dan and Christie Ponjican — and run with a little help from our two kids.
Who we are
Snack Smart Solutions is a family-owned, family-operated vending company based in Lewisville, North Carolina. We’ve called the Piedmont Triad home for more than 25 years and Forsyth County for more than 20, so the businesses, schools, and facilities we serve aren’t a territory to us. They’re our neighbors.
Dan handles the business side. Christie is our primary operator and the face of Snack Smart Solutions — she’s the one who’ll show up to stock and service your machine, always with a smile and often with one of our two children, who help run the day-to-day. We’re building this as a family business in the truest sense: one we intend to keep in the family for generations.
Why we started
Two things we kept noticing around Forsyth County, and couldn’t un-notice.
Fresh, healthy options are almost never in the machine.
Walk up to most vending machines in Forsyth County and you’ll find the same lineup: chips, candy, soda. Nothing fresh, nothing you’d feel good about at 10 a.m. And the workplaces and neighborhoods that could use better options the most — the underserved ones, without a café or grocery store close by — are usually the last to get them. We believe everybody deserves access to fresh, healthy food. So every machine we place carries a real mix: smart options, the classic favorites people actually want, and always something fresh and healthy. No matter which community or neighborhood it’s in.
Most vending machines in the Triad are old, understocked, or broken.
The other thing we kept seeing: a machine from another decade, half-empty, with an “out of order” sign taped to the front. Your business and your people deserve better than that. We place modern, cashless, ADA-compliant machines, monitor them remotely so they stay stocked, and keep them clean and working — because a vending machine only earns its spot in your break room if it actually works.
How we work
We buy the equipment, install it, stock it, and service it — all at no cost to your location. We earn our revenue from what sells, not from placement fees, which means our incentive is exactly the same as yours: a machine your people like using.

We’re based in Lewisville and active throughout the Piedmont Triad. Most of our work is close to home.

When we’re reachable
Office hours are Monday–Friday, 9 to 5. But we’re a family business, not a call center — if something’s wrong with your machine on a Saturday, call. We’re usually reachable seven days a week.
